Religion is not for those who are strong
I had written the following story before:
.......................38歲那年往中東旅遊,見到不少寺院因多次宗教戰爭而多次易轉身分,感慨之餘,也深明政教分離的重要。上西乃山的那天,正是自己的生日,凌晨2時起上山觀日出,中間小休回氣的時候,回頭見到抱病的團友巴蓮達騎駱駝經過,望她的背影,突然心有體會。宗教,其實只是一種工具,上山的路或許只得一條,但每個人都可用不同的方法,有些人選擇騎駱駝上山,筆者選擇了靠自己的能力。巴蓮達卻沒有告訴我,她的方法才是真理。........................

The sign is everywhere
In the past ten years, with help from rising real estate price, US consumers use home equity (account for 48% of US household wealth) to increase consumer spending.
With saving rate near 0%, many experts are worry that even a 5% drop in housing price in 2007 may trigger a US (or even global) recession.
